"Go eat your food with gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for it is now that God favors what you do. ... Enjoy life ..." -Eccesiastes 9:7-9
Enjoy the pleasures the Lord wraps in today. Taste the food, no, savor it. His provision.
Squish playdoh in your fingers, giggle with gooeyness.
Plant flowers. Tickle those you love. Snuggle close and wear comfies all day.
Enjoy this time of your life.
Rejoice and let the world see His joy in us.
Sometimes, I forget. Wrapped up in the things I need to do, I forget the things I get to do.
To truly enjoy the daily delights. May His joy bubble over and spill into my day, today.
A snuggle wrestle match. Chalk drawings with budding artists. Fitting my 33 year old body down a slide. Sand angels. Sparkling cider and candles for dinner. Fingerpaint. A few on my list of things to do today. Join me, share your list, and enjoy life today!

What a sweet grin! I bet it melts his mother's heart....
Oh yes, good list.
Hmmmm...
Learning with my kids ~
Watching movies as a family and learning faith lessons from them~
Eating the cookies that my 13 yr old son baked~
Being together
That's what I did today!
That is so cute. Your family is truly blessed.
I can add a few:
Sing out loud even though it's out of tune, dance no matter how out of step you may be, live, love and laugh, cry with the broken hearted, see the world through His eyes, notice the beauty of His creation, notice the simple things, love the unloving, smile even when no one is around, go outside and look at the stars.
Sarah Dawn, you got me thinking and I thank you my friend. I'll email you because I'd love to hear how you are doing.
Love you,
Debbie
Yes! It is the daily things in life that can bring us the most joy if we will stop and take the time to savor them! :) Thanks for the reminder Sarah Dawn!
Just relaxing today with the family. I love days like this.
What f-u-n!
I am headed out to have a date with my God-son. He is 13, and called last night as he is in town at his Grandmothers just over night. He lives 4 hours from me, and is very good at calling me each time he is here.
I also have a birthday party to attend this afternoon for a special little girl that connected with me from our church. She turned 5 yesterday and I can't wait to see her face at the party.
Yes....lets drench ourselves in His love and pour that back out onto others!
Lovingly,
Yolanda
Blowing bubbles, water gun fights with my hubby, snuggling with my hubby, dancing for Jesus.
Guessing that little fella has you wrapped around his little finger?! He's so cute!
Good post! I think a lot of times we take life and ourselves waaaay to seriously! We had fun enjoying the outdoors and each other today at a local orchard!
Having fun cleaning the house, because we're doing it together! Reading books and snuggling. Walking with a friend. Watching all of the kids in our neighborhood have fun together. And looking forward to this Sabbath evening...a leisurely meal together, with games and/or stories afterwards.
Much love to you, friend.
Sarah
I'm just living vicariously through your wonderful list Sarah. I miss so many of those things - now that the nest is empty.
However, I am enjoying a walk with my husband, singing in choir together for saturday night service and then dinner out together. The joys are different, but life is just as rich.
Fever-induced snuggle sessions, bed time prayers, "momma, just one more hug until morning?" backtracks, gentle hugs, light laughter...
*sigh*
Good times, good times.
Thanks for this...
Bina
