Drenched

In case you have yet to guess, I LOVE PHOTOS. Getting caught up on our albums, savoring the precious faces, memories, all bring smiles to this momma's heart.

I scooped up this one. Simply had to share. A snapshot of our life in Costa Rica, a place of rain, rain, rain. Completely drenched, look at the sheer bubbly joy on the face of my youngest. Sometimes, it's good to get sopping wet, drenched, wet all over.

I'm having a bit of fun and want to invite you to join me. After all, this is splashing glory and I would love to be splashed by you. What memories do you have of being drenched, or pictures in your album of the heart. Splash away friends ...

Please pray for my Julia. She is a mom in the northwest battling an aggressive cancer. Her husband, and four little ones (10, 9, 5 and 1) could use some strength of God right now. Thank you.

I meant, my old Awana mom buddy, Julia...she's not mine...she's God's. Thank you.

We had a few days ago lots of rain. Tornado warnings, tornado watches. but through the storm and no electricity the kids kept a positive attitude.

Thanks for sharing!

Mine would be from just a little over a week ago - on the Gulf in Florida, turned around from a walk on the beach, with my 16 year old,to see a white haze- there was rain. We did not make it 50 feet before we were in rain. Drenched when we got to the house, but loved it! In fact, since I was wet, I walked back to the beach as the rain stopped and sat for over an hour taking it all in. Wonderful!

There is just something about the rain that brings out the kid in all of us. So fun to splash in and play in. My kids sure do love it.
Super cute picture. Love their smiles.

I just made a new memory yesterday- riding through Bogota on a bike, white knuckled because of the traffic and the slippery roads. But, we made is safely sopping wet. :)

I can't remember specifics, but I love to see children having fun in the rain especially when they fearlessly run and jump in the middle of a puddle

What a smile...from ear to ear!

Today was a wet day after church as we enjoyed fellowship with the whole congregation with a cookout...and a 350' slip and slide!

When I was a child, my mom would send us out in the rain in our swimsuits! We'd wash our hair and collect rain water for the plants. We love, love, loved it. And I still love the rain.

Blessings,
Sarah

Sarah,
We went away for the weekend this last weekend. Just the 4 of us. To have some family time again, like during our travels. As we were sitting in a boat on a lake in Northern Manitoba fishing for Walleye and Northern Pike, it started to rain. The first thought is oh no, lets get back asap. But then the fish started to bite our hooks and we reeled in fish after fish. Suddenly the rain was fun. We laughed as we got wet and pulled in yummy fish at the same time.
